FAQ

How can I attend?

TEDxFSU has an application process for attendees. Register to reserve your seat.

I have a class for part of the time of the event, can I just come for a little?

Unfortunately, no. TEDxFSU prides itself on being a conference filled with diverse thought, performances and special breaks for food and interacting with the speakers and fellow guests. For that reason, we ask that you stay for the entirety of the event.

Where can I park?

The Fallon Theatre is located at 530 W. Call Street. The nearest parking is located in the Call Street Garage at the corner of West Call and North Macomb streets. We encourage car pooling if possible.

Who will be speaking?

We announce our speakers each spring. To learn about their stories and areas of expertise, visit our Conference page.

Will there be other things going on this day?

Yes! Along with many interesting talks, we will have performances, food and more fun surprises.

I can’t attend/I will be out of town - can I still enjoy this event?

Yes! We will be streaming the entire event live on this website! All of the talks will also be posted to YouTube after the event.

I missed the window to apply to attend, can I still come?

Seating is limited, but we do allow walk-ins the day of conference if our audience has not reached capacity.

What should I wear to this event?

There is no dress code for the conference, but we recommend attendees come dressed comfortably in business casual attire.

How early should I arrive?

Doors will open one hour before the event starts. We will shut the doors promptly, so make sure to get here with plenty of time to check in!
