Working with the guidance of FSU faculty and staff, a team of industrious and innovative students is the driving force that brings the conference to life each year. The student team consists of many levels of involvement, from student directors to general body membership.
Planning TEDxFSU is a year-round endeavor. The TEDxFSU conference is held each spring, and over the summer, members of the executive committee wrap up, review, and finalize all aspects of the event and implement updates and improvements for the following year's conference. In the fall, members recruit new student volunteers, oversee Steering Committee interviews and selection, and organize regular meetings to begin planning the spring conference.
The Steering Committee is made up of conference working groups, including such areas as Facilities & Logistics, Speakers & Coaches, Performers, Graphic Design & Branding, Attendance & Registration, Video & Technology, and Marketing.
Steering Committee applications are open through Sunday, Sept. 18 at 11:59 p.m.
