Abril Hunter

Truman Scholar (2022), Abril Hunter, attends Florida State University where she majors in Environmental Science and Policy. She dedicates her time to researching and evaluating environmental injustices as it relates to race with the hope of making tangible changes in the life of minorities.

 

 

 

Tiffany Lanier

Tiffany is an FSU alumna exploring the power of morning routines and rituals to enhance how we live, lead and work. On a mission to help individuals and organizations advance forward through disruption, she speaks on how to embrace change through a lens of wellbeing.

 

 

 

Eric Hsiao

Dr. Hsiao is an astronomer and an associate professor of Physics at FSU, hailing from the island nation of Taiwan. He makes detailed observations of stellar explosions, using both ground-based and space telescopes, in order to investigate their origins and the properties of our Universe.

 

 

 

 

 

Marah Litchford

Marah Litchford is a PhD student in History and Ethnography of Religions at FSU, studying the role of Buddhism in Tibetan political protest. She is also a proud mom to Maia Lhamo and Karma Paige. 

 

 

 

 

The Design Trio

Hannah Smith, Sarah Rifqi, and Alana Houston are interior designers and graduates from the FSU department of Interior Architecture and Design.  In their talk, the design trio discuss their recently designed "Memorial to the Enslaved" and how each of their unique perspectives contributed to the finished piece. 

 

 

 

 

Ritesh Gupta

Ritesh Gupta has channeled nearly two decades of reporting to craft an evocative, cinematic POV blending together the worlds of documentary and narrative. His signature style tags deep within his subjects and material to create an experience for the audience through the work which brings to the surface visceral raw emotions.
